Saturday, April 16, 2016 – message from Bill Hakkarinen:
Fellow Trackers: Another York is in the books, and now it is time to look to
next weekend, and the Great Scale Train Show at the Maryland State Fairgrounds,
Timonium, MD. So far we have 18 modules committed, and the show will go on!
Set up is available Friday, April 22, from Noon to 9 PM, and again Saturday
morning, 7-9 AM.
Show hours Saturday are 9-5, Sunday 10-4.
If you DO have module(s) in the show: (Schelle, Fistere, Kehn, Panagos, and
Knapp) would you email me with the time you plan to set up? That way I can plan
the layout so that we start with the earliest arrivals and build up to the later
If you DO NOT have modules committed, you can still get in on the fun. Let me
know with your set-up time, and how many modules. We have 30 feet x 60 feet, so
there is lots of room.
If you can’t bring a module, come anyway! Admission to the show is FREE if
you are wearing your Tracker apparel. Come run trains, and, if you can, help
with set up or take-down. Just tell the folks at the desk you are with the
This show will be a great place to show off those new York purchases.
I’ll be bringing the trailer, and thanks to Dave Sealing who will be giving me
some additional towing training this week.
Any questions, send me an email or call on my cell: 410-292-8758
P.S. the address of the Fair is:
Maryland State Fair 2200 York Rd. Timonium, MD 21093
